The Story of Jersey Pride

After many years of leading numerous high school cheerleaders to conference, state, and national championships, Lauryn wanted to create a quality, family friendly, competitive cheerleading program for children of all ages. Lauryn was known for more than just winning. She prided herself on developing disciplined, respectful, student athletes that would most importantly be successful in their future endeavors. Lauryn’s proudest accomplishment is the success of her former cheerleaders in college, in the workplace, and beyond.

Due in large part to Lauryn’s impeccable reputation from her years at WTHS, Jersey Pride had an amazing 5 teams with almost 90 cheerleaders in its first year. The program practiced at a local gymnastics facility for the first year and a half of its existence while their state of the art facility was being built from the ground up. In February 2008, Jersey Pride Cheer Gym opened its doors. Over the past 4 years, Jersey Pride has grown exponentially and won numerous regional and national titles.
